Nurture Health and Care Wisdom Academy launches IAFN's SANE programme
Dear Colleagues
Nurture Health & Care Wisdom Academy are pleased to share details of our upcoming Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Adult / Adolescent & Paediatric Programme, delivered through the Nurture Health & Care Wisdom Academy.
This UK-based programme aligns with the International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN) standards and is designed for nurses and midwives working within SARCs or forensic healthcare services who wish to develop specialist forensic examination expertise in a trauma-informed, psychologically safe learning environment.
The programme includes:
- 64 hours of IAFN-aligned teaching
- 16 hours Clinical skills laboratory training
- Supervised clinical practice and preceptorship
- Logbook-based competency sign-off, including hours of practice
- Preparation toward SANE-A / SANE-P certification eligibility
